It's that time of the year for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and we are inviting you, as a member of the UNSW Catholic Society to attend, nominate and/or run for a position in the 2024-2025 executive team. Otherwise please come for free dinner!
Details of our AGM are as follows:

Time: 6pm
Location: Squarehouse Level 3 (Room 301)
First and foremost, there will be a couple of changes to our Constitution, these amendments include:
Addition of Non-For-Profit Clause
Amending General Meeting Clauses
Addition of Returning Officer Responsibilities
Addition of Wellbeing Officer
Updating Membership Termination procedures

Becoming part of the executive team provides you with the opportunity to lead, serve, and play a unique role in helping grow our beloved Catholic community on campus. You can expect to be challenged and to make sacrifices but you can also expect to grow in your faith, be supported in your mission and have an incredibly rewarding time serving our society. If you have the desire to build the society and bring the love of God to campus, then please consider running for exec.

We encourage you to nominate members of our society who you feel are capable of leading and serving our society to greater heights. If you feel called to a position on the executive, we sincerely encourage you to nominate yourself. Nominations can be sent in through the form below.
Nominations must be received before 6pm on Tuesday the 24th of September 2024. You may wish to nominate more than one person for a single position. A person may also be nominated for more than one position. The nomination process will be managed by a Returning Officer who will otherwise be uninvolved in the election process. Feel free to email us or to approach any one of our current executive team (Gerardo, Stephanie.C, Nathaniel, Rafael, Sumika, Stephanie.P, Hanna) should you have any questions regarding the nomination process and the roles and responsibilities of the executive positions. Closing remarks
During the election process, members of the society who have been nominated for an executive role will be given the opportunity to accept or decline that nomination. Should there be multiple candidates running for a single position, 2 minutes will be given to each candidate to provide a short speech before voting commences for the candidates of that position.
After the AGM, we will celebrate the achievements of the past year, as well as both the incoming and outgoing executive committees. Please mark the date (10th October) down in your calendars and don’t forget to keep the incoming executive team and candidates in your prayers.
Executive Training
2025 New Executive Training will be held on the 20th & 21st of October 2024 in-person at the Roundhouse. At least TWO Executives from each Club are required to attend ONE of the days. If you are nominating for an Executive position, please save these dates
